The bg is wrapping paper on which die cut birches shaded with Copics were glued. The wrapping paper was spattered with "toothbrush snow" before placing the trees. Simple and easy card...relying on the bg paper to do a lot of the work.

WOW! I need to buy wrapping paper where you do! It looked like a background one might create. This is gorgeous, Sallie and what a creative way to make a card! Thanks for the inspiration!

I cannot remember the last time I got on SCS, but I am so glad I did today. I love your night scene, and I would never have guessed your bg was wrapping paper. Such a beautiful backdrop for your birch trees and red bird :-)
